Anniki Mikelsaar is a DPhil candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII), University of Oxford. Her research, supervised by Carl Benedikt Frey and Vili Lehdonvirta, focuses on the governance and security of network infrastructure in the context of AI, with particular attention to submarine cable and satellite networks. She holds an undergraduate degree from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics, and a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
